RİHA - On the second day of their march, women sent greetings to İmralı by walking on the road that Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan described as the "Freedom Road" during his work in Curnê Reş (Hilvan).
Hope Walkers continued their programme in Riha (Urfa) on the second day of the march started from Amed (Diyarbakır) to Ankara with the slogan “We are walking to freedom with hope” under the leadership Free Women’s Movement (Tevgera Jinên Azad-TJA) and completed their programme in Curnê Reş.
A march was organised on the Belê road, which Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan used during his work in Curnê Reş and which he described as the “Freedom Road”. The women shouted slogans throughout the march, hung white veils on a mulberry tree at the end of the road and wished for peace and freedom.
Making a statement afterwards, TJA activist Adalet Çimen Fidan stated that the march was emotional and that they would take responsibility for the process initiated by Abdullah Ocalan.
