RIHA - Free Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Azad-TJA) and Peoples' Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party Riha (Urfa) women's assembly came together with women from Hewag (Bozova) within the scope of the process initiated by Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Many people attended the meeting organissed in the meeting hall of Hewag Municipality. Speaking at the meeting, DEM Party Riha Provincial Co-chair Ayse Surucu said: "Kurdish women fought against the systam that says 'there are no women' by saying 'we are here'. She broke many moulds and continued to struggle."
After the speeches, the meeting continued with questions and answers and ended with the slogans "Jin jiyan azadî (Woman, life, freedom)".
