
Conference preparation from Peace Mothers

	AMED - Peace Mothers' Assembly gathered before the conference to be held on 18-19 October.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	The Peace Mothers' Assembly will organise a big conference on 18-19 October as part of the Peace and Democratic Society Process. Peace Mothers gathered for the conference at the Peoples' Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party Amed (Diyarbakır) Provincial Organisation building.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	Peace Mother Havva Kıran emphasised that the physical freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan must be ensured. Havva Kıran said: "The Leader (Öcalan) wanted peace not only for Kurds but for the whole world. As Peace Mothers, we demand freedom for our president who has been imprisoned for 27 years."&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	Havva Kıran added: "Let the doors of prisons be opened. Let us hear the sound of peace instead of gunfire and drone sounds. As Peace Mothers, we do not want this hand of peace to remain in the air. Let's hold this hand."
